I asked, and you all answered.
This week, I put out the call for sponsors to help me get to my upcoming Jiu Jitsu training camp, and because of you—your generosity, your support, your willingness to hit that little share button and spread the word—I’ve just about reached my fundraising goal. That means the camp ticket is bought, the airfare is covered, and in just a short time, I’ll be heading off to learn, and train, with top women in this sport. And I couldn’t be more excited!
Jiu Jitsu has always been about community. We break each other down (sometimes literally) to build each other up. We struggle, we sweat, we push through exhaustion, frustration, and bad training days—together. And this? This right here is proof of just how strong this community really is. Because without you, without the people who took the time to donate, to share, to support me in any way, I wouldn’t be stepping onto those mats at camp.
A huge thank you to my incredible sponsors who made this possible:
🔥 Tina, Monica, Alyson, and anonymous
You all didn’t just help me get to camp—you’re helping me bring back knowledge, technique, and experience to share with the women I train with. This camp isn’t just about me; it’s about absorbing everything I can from high-level women in this sport and passing it on. It’s about getting to train alongside (hopefully) a few of my own girls who might also make it out there. It’s about meeting new women from across the country, rolling with different styles, and bonding over our collective obsession with trying to choke each other.
I’m just so damn grateful that I get to do this. That I get to spend so much of my time in this wild, brutal, beautiful sport we all love. That I have a community around me that believes in me, pushes me to keep learning, and supports me in ways I can never fully put into words.
I wouldn’t have made it to any of these camps without you.
See you on the mats soon.
